Transit Planner is a planning and visualization tool. It may include experimental features such as AI-generated suggestions. It is provided on an "as is" basis and is not a substitute for professional engineering, legal, or policy advice.
You must be able to form a binding agreement where you live to use the service. If you are using Transit Planner on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased. You are responsible for independently verifying outputs before using them in any planning, operational, or policy decision.
Important: Transit Planner does not guarantee that generated routes, GTFS feeds, or metrics are correct or fit for a specific purpose. Always consult qualified professionals for infrastructure decisions.
You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as custom routes and datasets). By using the service, you grant the operator of your deployment a license to host, process, and display your content for the purpose of providing the service.
Transit Planner may integrate third-party services — for example, map tile providers, authentication providers, and AI model providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We encourage you to review those policies before use.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Transit Planner is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of your deployment will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of Transit Planner.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
Questions about these terms? Contact the operator of your deployment. If you are running Transit Planner locally or in your organization's infrastructure, your organization's legal team should review these terms for your specific use case.
